You must complete the online application by visiting the Taiwan ICDF Scholarship Online Application System.
Application Period: December 1, 2025 – March 15, 2026.
You must ensure that all submitted information is accurate and complete; otherwise, it may result in application failure.
You may only apply for one program at a time. You also need to submit a separate program application to your chosen university/program.
Step 2: Contact the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/Office
Applicants must complete the online application form. Applicants must ensure that they submit accurate and complete information; failure to do so will result in the application not being processed. Printed or digital copies may be required depending on the decision of each ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/Overseas Office.
Step 3: First Review
The ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/Consulate General/Representative Office will conduct an initial review of applicants based on Taiwan ICDF’s eligibility requirements and selection criteria, and then submit the list of recommended applicants to Taiwan ICDF no later than March 31 each year.
Step 4: Second Review
The second review of qualified applicants will be conducted by an academic committee formed by each partner university in collaboration with Taiwan ICDF representatives. The review will be based on each university’s selection criteria while also considering Taiwan ICDF’s eligibility requirements and selection standards.
Step 5: Announcement
After the second review with all partner universities is completed, Taiwan ICDF will announce the list of scholarship recipients (no later than June 10 each year). Successful applicants will receive their admission letter through the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/Consulate General/Representative Office where they initially applied.
Please note: Receiving admission from a university does not automatically mean that the applicant has been awarded the Taiwan ICDF Scholarship. Only applicants who receive an official acceptance letter issued by Taiwan ICDF will be recognized as scholarship recipients.
